Part 1 of the Speakers network is comprised of clinical IP experts with extensive speaking experience. For sponsoring companies it serves to increase market penetration via clinical education, and at the same time reduce costs by eliminating speaker travel and hotel. Speakers arrange to speak at their local APIC chapter (list below). All topics can be presented by any of the speakers. Each of the long (50 minute) or short (30 minute) PowerPoint presentations are product neutral (list below) and require no development or editing by the speakers. The sponsoring companies have agreed to pay the speaker an honorarium or educational grant (speaker's choice) in the amount of $1,500. The payment of the speaker honorarium will be made directly from the company after the presentation. Slides are reviewed with the speaker in advance of each scheduled presentation. A product rep from the sponsoring company is invited to attend the APIC chapter meeting when the presentation is scheduled. The presentations will be updated each year in collaboration with the clients. Currently the available presentations follow (all product neutral):

Part two of the Speakers Network is comprised of experts in the realm of infection prevention, who are not IPs. These expert speakers are sponsored by their own companies, with no charge to the APIC chapter who requests a presentation. As with the IP Speakers group, all presentations are product neutral. Topics and speakers follow. The process for scheduling a presentation is simple: The APIC chapter contacts the speaker directly via email to arrange for a presentation.
